That sounds intriguing! Korean dramas have really been pushing boundaries with their storytelling lately, especially in genres like noir and political thrillers. The combination of legal drama and a dark, ambitious premise like "Climax" definitely piques my interest. I’m especially curious about how they’ll develop the themes of ambition and morality throughout the series. Hopefully, it strikes a balance between tension and character depth! Have you watched any other recent K-dramas that you’d recommend?

Ju Ji-Hoon as the prosecutor trying to take down that big alliance with the mayor and the company is interesting. His wife being connected to everything makes it more complicated. I like how they mix politics, business and personal life together. The cast is strong too, Ha Ji-Won and Nana are good choices. I finished the first two episodes already and the story moves fast. Will watch the rest this week.

Finally a Korean drama that feels different from the usual romance stuff. The corruption plot between the mayor and the conglomerate is well built. Bang Tae-Seob is playing a dangerous game and involving his wife without knowing makes it tense. Oh Jung-Se as Kwon Jong-Uk seems crazy in a good way. I enjoy these kinds of thrillers where nobody can be trusted. Good pacing so far.

This drama is really good. The way the prosecutor recruits the informant and the heir to fight the big boss is smart. But everything gets messy when family is involved. Ha Ji-Won looks beautiful as always even if her character has a sad past. I like the dark tone and how it shows how power works in Korea. Already recommended it to my sister.

Not bad at all. The story moves quick and there is always something happening. The prosecutor is ambitious and that brings trouble. His wife being connected makes him question his choices. I like Kwon Jong-Uk’s character because he is unpredictable. Overall the acting is strong and the plot keeps you interested. Will continue watching.

I still consider 2025 releases recent. So I would recommend "The Manipulated."
