It's impressive to hear that Schwarzenegger is still in the mix for more Conan, Commando, and Predator projects! Despite being nearly 80, he's definitely shown that he's got that classic action star charisma that audiences love. I think it’s exciting when legacy characters get revisited, especially with an icon like Arnold.

I wonder how they’ll tackle the action aspects with someone of his age, though. It could be a fun blend of nostalgia and new narratives if they do it right. Plus, bringing back these franchises always opens the door for some great fan service! What do you all think? Are you excited about the potential for new stories, or do you think it's time for the legends to pass the torch?

Personally I think this sounds like a lot of nostalgia marketing. I respect Arnold Schwarzenegger because he built one of the biggest action careers in history, but I do not believe every old role needs a sequel. Predator already continued without him and still worked for many viewers. Conan also had a remake attempt years ago. Sometimes it is better to leave classic characters alone instead of revisiting them many decades later. I also question if audiences under 30 really feel the same excitement for these titles. People my age remember them, but younger viewers may not have the same connection. If Arnold appears again, I would prefer a fresh story rather than repeating the exact characters from the 1980s. His personality and experience could still lead a strong action film without relying completely on the past.

I am probably more optimistic than most people about this. Arnold Schwarzenegger has always been larger than life on screen, and that does not disappear just because someone gets older. Clint Eastwood made strong films in his later years by embracing his age instead of hiding it. Arnold could do something similar with Conan. A seasoned king dealing with threats to his kingdom could actually feel more serious than the earlier movies. For Predator, I would enjoy seeing Dutch again even if he only appears for part of the film. That character left a strong impression in the original. Commando is harder to imagine because the first movie was very direct action with little explanation. If they rewrite the concept a bit and make the character more strategic, I think audiences could accept it.

Love it. The social satire part got me interested right away. NES never had ongoing stories like this so it feels fresh even in 2026. Each world having its own rules and cast is genius—doodle world, robot factory, train fare dodger, oligarch kidnapping, all different vibes. Peter clearly knows how to write funny stuff from his Platypus Comix days. $80 for seven games plus extras is good value compared to buying them separate on itch. Already told my retro group chat about it. Demo convinced me the gameplay holds up. Backed the complete box and added an extra cartridge for a friend. Let’s get this funded.

I am not against older actors returning to famous roles, but I do want some honesty about age on screen. I do not need to see Arnold Schwarzenegger acting like he is still 40 years old. That would look strange. What I would enjoy is seeing these characters evolve. Conan ruling a kingdom is believable. Dutch helping others track a Predator is believable. Even John Matrix could work if the story shows him as a retired soldier forced back into action one last time. Movies sometimes forget that audiences understand time has passed. If the script respects that reality, people will accept it more easily. If the movie pretends nothing changed since the 1980s, then it may feel uncomfortable to watch.

I will be honest, I mostly feel curious rather than excited. Arnold Schwarzenegger already had a huge career, so he does not really need to prove anything now. If these movies happen, I hope they are made because someone had a good story idea, not just because studios want to use famous titles again. Conan seems like the strongest concept since an older king facing new challenges could feel meaningful. Predator with Dutch might also attract longtime fans. Commando 2 sounds like the most difficult one because the first movie was built on constant action. Watching an older character repeat that formula may not feel natural. Still, Arnold always had strong screen presence, so even a small role could leave a big impression if the film is written carefully.
