Universal is finally doing the right thing and making the Mummy movie everybody wants -- the one that stars Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz

Meh, 2028 is way too far. By then everyone might forget why we wanted this. Fraser and Weisz are great picks obviously, but I’m worried they’ll try to make it too serious or add too much CGI junk. The originals worked because they felt real and funny. Hope they don’t mess that up. Still watching the announcement though

Super pumped! Rick O’Connell is one of the coolest adventure heroes ever, and Evie was the brainy half that made it all click. Bringing them back feels right. Oh man this is awesome. I grew up on those movies and the third one always felt wrong without Rachel. Now we get the real pair again.
