Yuki’s Revenge Brings a Lost Kill Bill Chapter to Fortnite

Yuki’s Revenge is finally coming to life — not on the big screen, but in Fortnite. This unfilmed and unanimated chapter of Kill Bill Vol. 2 has long fascinated fans, and Epic Games has partnered with Quentin Tarantino to recreate it as part of The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge event. Originally, Quentin Tarantino wanted Kō Shibasaki to play Yuki Yubari, the younger sister of Gogo Yubari. However, the actress was unavailable. As a result, fans suggested making Yuki and Gogo twins so the role could still be filled. Despite this idea, Tarantino ultimately decided not to film the sequence because the movie was already too long. Many believe that Yuki’s Revenge would have been far more exciting than slower scenes in Kill Bill, particularly those involving Buck. The chapter would have been iconic because the fight between The Bride and Gogo Yubari had already won the Best Fight Scene award at the MTV Movie Awards. Building on that legacy, Yuki’s Revenge could have been a spectacular addition to the film. The Fortnite adaptation already delivers visually impressive sequences that arguably look better than any of the Buck scenes in Kill Bill Vol. 2, providing a more cinematic and dynamic presentation […]

Honestly, I feel like Fortnite is not the medium Yuki’s Revenge deserves. I would have much preferred seeing it as a live-action scene or even an anime adaptation—it could have captured the intensity and style of Kill Bill so much better. But I guess something is better than nothing, and at least fans get a glimpse of what this lost chapter might have been. Still, because it’s Fortnite, you know this has to be the PG version. The violence is toned down, the action feels more playful, and it can’t have the darker, grittier tone Tarantino probably intended. I understand why they did it, and the trailer looks fun in its own way, but it’s hard not to imagine how much more impactful Yuki’s Revenge could have been in a format that actually matches the movie’s style.

I remember back in 2003, on forums about Kill Bill, fans were really excitedly suggesting that Gogo and Yuki should be twins so the movie could actually film that scene. At the time, it seemed like a fun idea, mostly because Kō Shibasaki wasn’t available, and Kill Bill Vol. 2 was already too long to add another chapter. It’s kind of amazing to see that fan suggestion from so long ago actually reflected in this Fortnite DLC. The Yuki Yubari character looks a lot like Gogo, and it really feels like Epic Games and Tarantino found a clever way to bring that “what if” idea to life. It makes me appreciate how creative fans were back then, and how even years later, their ideas can have some influence.

I really enjoy how Epic Games made Yuki’s Revenge feel like part of Kill Bill without trying to make it overly realistic for Fortnite. The trailer looks fun, and the combination of pink nails, a submachine gun, and parkour makes Yuki an interesting character. I also like that Beatrix looks like Uma Thurman; it makes the crossover feel more genuine. I might try the event just to see how the fight sequences play out in a game format. Even though it’s toned down, I think the action will still feel intense and enjoyable. I also like the idea that fans can make their own machinimas to explore the story further.

I feel like this collaboration is very ambitious. Yuki’s Revenge is a story that never made it to the screen, and now fans can explore it in a creative way. I like that the trailer shows a fun but chaotic mix of parkour, guns, and chase sequences. I also appreciate that Beatrix Kiddo looks like Uma Thurman because it keeps the experience authentic. The machinima option is probably the most interesting part for me because I love creating short videos. Even though Fortnite is not normally my thing, this event might be worth checking out just for that creative opportunity. I think this is a smart way to revive an unused story and give it a second life.

I am kind of shocked that Fortnite is doing something like this. Kill Bill is such a violent, adult movie, and Fortnite is usually colorful and kid-friendly. I was curious how they could make it work, and after seeing the teaser, I get it. The visuals are very cinematic, and I like how Yuki has her own style with the pink fingernails and double pigtails. It makes her stand out even though the violence is limited. I think the parkour and gunplay look fun, even if it’s not exactly what Tarantino would have filmed. I might not spend too much time on the machinima part, but just watching other people recreate it could be entertaining. The idea of turning a lost chapter into a playable event is pretty creative, and I appreciate that Epic Games and Tarantino are trying something different.

At first, it feels like the event is just about Yuki, but the teaser clearly shows a Beatrix model, which makes me think Epic Games is planning a full Kill Bill chapter in Fortnite. It makes sense to build it out more since the characters interact so much. Also, Yuki looking so much like Gogo really stands out. If they went to the trouble of making her look similar, there’s no way they won’t eventually release a Gogo Yubari model too. It would feel incomplete without her, and it could make recreating the story even more fun. I’m actually excited to see how they handle that, especially for machinimas or custom battles in-game.

I think the Fortnite adaptation of Yuki’s Revenge looks impressive. The character models, action sequences, and cinematic presentation are detailed and fun. I like that Yuki has a distinctive style with her double pigtails, pink fingernails, and submachine gun. It’s exciting to see how fans can recreate the lost chapter using machinimas. Even though the violence is limited, the sequences still feel chaotic and energetic. I am interested in trying out the outfit and seeing what creative things other players come up with. It’s an unexpected but enjoyable way to experience a part of Kill Bill that never got filmed.

I wasn’t expecting a Kill Bill event in Fortnite, and I have to say, the concept is very interesting. The idea of recreating a lost chapter is unique, and the trailer makes it feel cinematic. I like that Yuki’s Revenge adds action and chaos without being overly violent. The Cadillac chase and parkour elements are visually impressive, and it gives players creative opportunities with machinimas. I am curious how Epic Games will expand this in the future, especially if they introduce a Gogo Yubari model. It feels like a playful nod to fans while exploring something that never existed before.

The trailer looks fast-paced, and the action is clear and easy to follow. I like that Epic Games included familiar elements like Beatrix and the pink Cadillac chase. It feels cinematic without needing the film’s gore. I also like that the event is temporary—it makes participating feel special. I plan to grab the Yuki outfit and experiment with the parkour and combat mechanics. I also hope this inspires other collaborations with classic film scenes in Fortnite.
