Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc is coming soon — and closer than you think. Sony Pictures released the dub trailer this morning, and at the same time, bumped up the US release date from October 29 to October 24. You’ll be able to experience all the ultraviolence five days earlier! But that violence may be mixed with…love. Yup, that’s the theme of the Reze Arc. Denji, the “Chainsaw Man” of the series, has nursed feelings for his boss Makima for some time, but never worked up the courage to ask her out until this movie. No sooner does he land a date, however, than he runs into Reze, an alluring barista who has him questioning if he should really go for Makima or for this new girl. Don’t start shipping Denji and Reze just yet. Unfortunately the promo campaign kinda gives this away, but she’s a Devil in disguise with the power to create massive explosions. The real reason Reze has come onto Denji is to seduce him to her side. Things are about to get messy. Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc stars Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Fairouz Ai as Power […]

I have been waiting for this dub for months, and seeing the trailer finally makes it feel real. I like how they are keeping the Reze arc’s tension between romance and danger. Denji’s character always seems torn between his feelings and the chaos around him, and the trailer really shows that. I also appreciate that Studio MAPPA is handling the animation. Their work usually makes fight scenes look very clean and intense, so I expect the explosions from Reze to look amazing. The voice cast seems strong too, and I am curious how Kikunosuke Toya will bring Denji’s personality to life in English. Overall, I feel like the movie will balance humor, action, and drama nicely.

Watching the trailer, I felt a mix of excitement and tension. Denji is not just a fighter; he’s also someone who struggles with feelings, and Reze makes that struggle more complicated. I am interested in how the dub handles his awkwardness and the dynamics with Makima. Reze’s character seems very dangerous, and I think the action scenes will be intense. Studio MAPPA usually does a good job with both action and emotion, so I am hopeful this movie will deliver. The fact that the US gets it five days earlier is also a plus, because I can see it without waiting too long.

I am mostly excited about Reze’s introduction in this movie. In the manga, her story is one of the most dramatic, and seeing it animated with full voice acting is going to be interesting. The trailer shows glimpses of the explosions and fights, but I hope the movie keeps the emotional stakes high too. Denji’s feelings for Makima are complicated, and Reze only makes it worse. I think the voice actors will have to carry both the intensity of the fights and the emotional tension, which is not easy. But with MAPPA animating, I feel confident they can handle it.

Denji is usually focused on survival, but his feelings for Makima make him relatable. Reze coming in complicates everything. I like that they are not ignoring the action either; her powers look destructive, and I hope the fight choreography is as good as it looks in the trailer. The casting for the dub seems strong, and I hope the voice actors can bring out the emotional depth of each character.

I am really excited that the US release date moved up. I had been planning to see this movie the week after, but now I can go earlier. Denji’s story with Makima and Reze is always full of tension, and I hope the movie doesn’t rush their interactions. The explosions and action scenes look impressive, and MAPPA’s animation style is perfect for this kind of intense, violent story. I am also glad they included Power and Pochita in the cast. Their roles often add humor and warmth to balance the chaos.
