What Am I made for?
TRUST (2025) is a cat-and-mouse thriller. “Trust,” the upcoming psychological survival thriller starring “Game of Thrones” breakout Sophie Turner, is coming the movie theaters this summer. (SOURCE: The Wrap) ♦ “You Are Not in Control Anymore!” In “TRUST“, a Hollywood starlet’s career is rocked by a scandal. In an effort to get away from it all, she retreats to a secluded cabin. She may have gotten away from the public’s prying eye, but she soon discovers that she’s not alone and the “intruder(s)” mean her harm. It becomes a brutal game of survival. Sophie Turner is an English actress and her breakout role was as Sansa Stark in “Game of Thrones” (2011–2019), and she was nominated for an Emmy. Her filmography includes roles in the X-Men film series, “Another Me” (2013), “Barely Lethal” (2015), “Survive” (2020), and “The Staircase” (2022). She played the infamous jewel thief Joan Hannington in “Joan” (2024). Bio tidbit: Married to Joe Jonas from 2019 to 2024 and has two children. Billy Campbell‘s career in film and television is very diverse and dates back to 1984. In TV, he had roles in “Dynasty” (1984–1985), “Once and Again” (1999–2002), and “The 4400” (2004–2007). In films, he starred in “The […]

I’m currently in film school, and “Trust” really caught my interest from a technical and thematic angle. The setup is familiar, but the success of this genre always depends on how it builds tension. The idea of isolating a famous actress in a cabin with unknown threats has great potential, especially if the script focuses more on her mental state and less on cheap jump scares. Sophie Turner has been choosing deeper roles lately, like her work in “Joan,” and that shows she’s ready for more serious parts. I think this could be a chance for her to show range beyond what we’ve seen in Game of Thrones or X-Men.
What also caught my attention is the casting of Peter Mensah. His voice and presence bring weight to any project. If the film plays on ambiguity—like not knowing who to trust or what is real—it could be more than just a thriller. I'm hoping it avoids clichés and really dives into fear and paranoia. If done right, this might become a slow-burn favorite.

I watched the trailer and I’m excited. Sophie Turner looks strong in this one. I loved her as Sansa, and she has a very serious face that fits this kind of movie. The cabin setting gives me chills already. I don’t like horror films with too much blood, but psychological thrillers I can handle. I think the intruder might be someone she knows, like maybe Billy Campbell’s character?
The part where someone says, “You are not in control anymore” is creepy. I will watch this in theaters if it comes here. I also like that it’s not streaming. Some movies are better on a big screen.

This movie hit me on a personal level just from the summary. I know what it’s like to feel like you’ve escaped something terrible only to realize you’re still not safe. That feeling of isolation and fear, especially when people around you think you’re fine, is something many women understand.
Sophie Turner has a calm but intense presence, and I trust her to show this kind of emotion in a real way. What I hope is that the film doesn’t turn her into a weak victim who only survives by luck. I want to see her character fight back—not just physically, but emotionally too.
Also, I’m glad they chose actors like Peter Mensah and Billy Campbell, who aren’t overexposed. They both play serious roles well, and I can already imagine how threatening or comforting they could appear depending on the scene.
I’ll definitely watch it, but I know it may be hard for me. I just hope the movie respects its audience and doesn’t turn pain into just entertainment. These kinds of stories deserve care.

I’m not sure yet. This seems like one of those movies where the trailer shows all the interesting parts and the rest is slow or confusing. The plot sounds okay, but I’ve seen many “trapped woman” stories lately. Some are good, others are lazy.
Sophie Turner is a good actress, but I don’t think she always gets strong material. I hope this one has better writing than “Survive,” because that series had a nice idea but wasn’t deep.
The idea of a “psychological survival thriller” is interesting, but if it just becomes someone running and hiding in the woods for 90 minutes, I’ll pass. If there’s a twist, or the characters are more complicated, I’ll give it a chance. Otherwise, I’ll wait for reviews.

Looks good to me. I love these kinds of movies where you don’t know who to believe. I hope there’s a strong mystery and not just a guy chasing her with a knife. The fact that Billy Campbell is in it makes me curious. He’s always good at playing charming but maybe dangerous guys.
Peter Mensah is a bonus. I remember him from Spartacus. He has a powerful voice that makes everything feel serious.
Sophie Turner has grown a lot as an actress. She’s not just “the girl from Game of Thrones” anymore.
I'll go watch it if it gets good buzz. I hope the trailer didn’t spoil too much.

What interests me about “Trust” is its potential for character exploration. The premise isn’t new, but what makes these kinds of stories work is how the characters react under pressure. A famous actress hiding from a scandal—already, there’s a question of image versus reality.
I think casting Sophie Turner is smart. She’s been through her share of media storms in real life, and maybe she can pull from that. It’s always interesting when the line between the character and actor becomes blurry.
The trailer’s line, “You are not in control anymore,” really stuck with me. It could mean many things: being watched, manipulated, gaslit. If the script plays with that psychological tension, it could be powerful. I want to see more than just violence. I want to feel her confusion and fear.
Also, Billy Campbell as the man who “gave her a life”—that could be symbolic or literal. Is he a producer? A lover? A stalker? The layers are there if the writing is strong enough. I’ll be watching this not just as a viewer, but as someone hoping to learn something about how to tell fear on screen.

I love Sophie Turner and will watch anything she’s in. She looks cool and scared in the trailer, which is a good combo for a thriller.
I don’t really know the other actors, but it’s fine. I hope it’s not too slow. I hate movies that are just people hiding forever.
If there’s a twist, I’ll scream. I want something shocking, like someone she trusts is behind it. That would be cool.
Also, I like the poster they used. Simple but scary. I’ll try to watch this with my friends if it comes to our cinema.

I remember Billy Campbell from The Rocketeer. Hard to believe that was over 30 years ago. It’s always nice to see seasoned actors like him get roles in new films.
As for the story, it reminds me of older thrillers from the '70s and '80s that were more about tension than action. That’s something missing from many movies today. Everything is either superheroes or franchises.
Sophie Turner has matured a lot since Game of Thrones. I like that she’s choosing more challenging roles. She seems to be trying to escape the “celebrity” label and focus more on being a serious actress.
The idea of retreating to a cabin and facing unknown danger is simple but effective. If the filmmakers take their time with atmosphere and character instead of just noise and chases, it could be special.

I like this kind of movie when it’s done well. Sophie Turner is a good actress and the idea sounds interesting.
But it depends on the ending. If the story just ends with a basic fight and escape, I won’t be impressed.
I want something clever. Maybe one of the characters isn’t who they seem. Maybe the whole thing was set up.
Also, I hope the trailer didn’t spoil too much.
I’ll watch it when it comes out, but I’m going in with low expectations just in case.
