I’ve been a big fan of Wednesday’s no-nonsense attitude, and this trailer just proves they’re sticking to what works. No forced love stories, no softening of the character—just pure Wednesday. The humor, the chaos, everything is spot-on. But honestly, I think what I’m most excited for is the fact that we get a two-part season. That just means more Wednesday to enjoy. I’m also glad they kept the weirdness intact, like the scene with the dolls. I’m not sure I want to know what she’s going to do next.

The fact that they’re splitting the season into two parts is a little annoying, but it does give me time to digest each part. The teaser is exactly what I expected: dark humor, weirdness, and some creepy visuals. The bit with the dolls and the knife was so strange, but it’s definitely something Wednesday would do. I also like that they’re not forcing romance into it. It would’ve been a distraction from the actual story.

I’m a bit worried that Season 2 won’t live up to the hype of the first season. The trailer definitely looks like they’re sticking with the formula, but will it get old? I’m hoping they don’t go overboard with the random chaos. I’m excited to see more of Jenna Ortega, though. She’s really made the character her own, and it’s hard to imagine anyone else playing Wednesday. I just hope they don’t lose the essence of her character with all the spectacle.

I feel really bad for Percy Hynes. The accusations against him were serious, but he was never given a fair chance to defend himself before the show decided to let him go. Now that it’s been proven that he didn’t do anything wrong, it’s frustrating to see that he’s still being punished for something that wasn’t his fault. It’s unfair that the show didn’t wait for the full facts to come out before making such a big decision. He’s a talented actor, and it’s clear that his career has been impacted by this. There’s no way to undo the damage, but I think it’s important to recognize that sometimes people are wrongly accused and deserve the chance to clear their name without being permanently affected. It feels like an injustice that he’s been cut from the show despite being proven innocent.

Unfortunately, that's the reality of cancel culture. It doesn’t matter if you’re proven innocent—once someone’s been accused, it feels like the damage is already done. It’s sad that people often don’t get a fair chance to recover their reputation, no matter how things turn out. Once the narrative is set, it’s hard to change it, and the consequences can last long after the truth comes out. The show may have made their decision based on public pressure, and even with the facts cleared, Percy’s already been marked in the eyes of some. It’s not right, but it’s the way cancel culture tends to work now. Even when someone is proven innocent, the label sticks, and it’s hard to move forward from that.

I can’t help but love the strange, quirky energy of Wednesday. The new trailer is just what I expected—dark, mysterious, and funny. I really appreciate that they’re sticking to what makes Wednesday unique. I like that no one’s trying to make her more “mainstream” or put her in a romance storyline. The humor is perfect, too. The scene with the TSA agents was hilarious, and the doll bit? Honestly creepy, but also funny. I’m here for all of it. Can’t wait for August.

I think Jenna Ortega being a producer now shows how much trust Netflix has in her. She clearly understands Wednesday as a character, and her acting in Season 1 was the main reason I watched. I’m curious what influence she had on the writing this time. Also, the cast looks strong, especially with actors like Steve Buscemi and Billie Piper joining. I just hope they are used well and not just added for attention. The two-part release makes me think there will be a big cliffhanger in the middle, which might be frustrating. Still, I'm excited. This show has a mood and style that feels different from most other teen series, and I like that.

Honestly, I didn’t even know there would be a second season, but now I’m really looking forward to it. Jenna Ortega did a good job the first time, and it’s interesting that she’s helping produce now. I’m glad they’re splitting it into two parts. It gives people time to discuss each half more deeply. The guest stars sound exciting. I think Thandiwe Newton and Haley Joel Osment are great actors, but I’m most curious about Lady Gaga’s character. She always brings something strange and bold. I also like that Tim Burton is still directing. His style made the show stand out. Season 1 sometimes felt a bit rushed, so I hope this season has better pacing and more focus on character development.
