The flowers are blooming, and so is Crnnchyroll with over 30 new anime seasons coming to its library in the next few weeks. Among the sea of isekai, romcoms and reincarnations, you’ll find anticipated returns like Fire Force Season 3, Black Butler’s Emerald Witch arc, the My Hero Academia spinoff Vigilantes, and of course, more One Piece. Believe it or not, there’s an Anne of Green Gables anime adaption coming later this week (Anne Shirley), as well as a show based on Guilty Gear, for all you Bridget stans out there. Witch Watch, the most hyped romcom anime in some time, premieres April 6 not just on Crunchyroll but on several other streaming services as well. Crunchyroll’s full schedule, with trailers for each show, can be browsed below. MARCH 25 I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! I’m honestly just here for Fire Force and Black Butler—those are my top picks this season. Fire Force never disappoints when it comes to action, and I’ve been waiting forever for the new Black Butler arc. But I gotta admit, I’m a little overwhelmed by the sheer number of new shows. Some of these sound promising, but I’m not sure if I can keep up with all of them. The Anne Shirley anime seems like it could be a fun take on a classic, but I’m not sure if the anime will capture the magic of the original story. Guilty Gear is cool, but I haven’t played the game, so I don’t know if I’ll get the full experience. I’ll probably just stick to my favorites for now.

Honestly, I’m so excited for I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! The plot sounds absolutely hilarious—an evil lord who keeps accidentally turning his plans into peaceful prosperity? That’s the kind of self-aware comedy I live for. Plus, I’ve always been a fan of isekai, so this show is right up my alley. The Beginning After the End also looks promising. The idea of a king being reborn in a magical world with all his memories intact is not new, but I love the potential for character growth. The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows caught my attention too—it’s an isekai, but with a twist on the usual healer tropes. This season has so much to offer for isekai fans like me!

I’m just here to watch whatever looks chill, and I think I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level Season 2 fits the bill perfectly. It’s the kind of show where you can just relax and not think too hard. It’s light, fun, and not too dramatic—exactly what I need after a long day. Catch Me at the Ballpark also seems like it could be a nice, low-stakes watch with some sweet moments. Sometimes, I don’t need the over-the-top battles or complicated plots; I just want something easy to enjoy.
