Guest characters are fine when they make sense, but a football player in Fatal Fury? This is starting to feel like a joke. I get that Ronaldo is a world-famous athlete, but what does he bring to a fighting game besides brand recognition? His move set sounds like a gimmick—floating a football around like Menat’s orb? That doesn’t fit the style of Fatal Fury at all. At least with Negan in Tekken, he had a weapon that worked within the system. At the end of the day, guest characters are just part of modern fighting games. Some people will love them, some won’t. But getting mad about it isn’t going to change anything. SNK added him because they know he’ll bring in new players, and honestly, that’s a good thing for the game. More players mean more attention, more updates, and a bigger community. If Ronaldo gets people to try Fatal Fury for the first time, that’s a win for everyone.


So yeah, if you like him, play him. If you don’t, just use him for combo practice and move on.
