I love a good psychological thriller, and Drop sounds like it will be intense from start to finish. The premise alone—being forced to kill your date to save your family—is unsettling yet intriguing. I’m curious to see how Meghann Fahy handles such an emotionally charged role. Psychological thrillers often depend on the lead’s ability to sell fear and desperation, so I hope the performances are strong. The setting in Dublin is also interesting; I wonder how it plays into the atmosphere of the film. Based on the reviews, it seems to be a solid movie, but I’ll keep my expectations balanced.

I don’t know… this kind of plot has been done before. A mysterious caller forcing someone to commit a crime or risk losing a loved one? It reminds me of Phone Booth and Saw, just with a dating twist. I’m not saying it will be bad, but I hope it has something unique to offer. I’ll wait for more audience reviews before deciding if it’s worth watching in theaters.

This sounds terrifying in a way that really gets under my skin. As a parent, the idea of someone watching my child and controlling me through technology is horrifying. I think movies like this remind us of the dangers of our connected world. It’s not just entertainment—it’s a warning. I’ll probably watch this at home with the lights on because I can already tell it will make me paranoid.

Seems like a solid thriller, but I’ll probably just wait for it to come to Hulu. Psychological thrillers can be hit or miss for me. Sometimes they’re too predictable, and other times they really get inside your head. Hopefully, this one delivers something fresh.

Thrillers like this can be difficult to pull off because they rely so much on pacing and suspense. If the tension isn’t maintained throughout, it could fall flat. That being said, the cast looks strong, and I’m interested in seeing how they handle the moral dilemma. Does Violet immediately believe the caller, or does she hesitate? Does Henry suspect something is wrong? The way these details unfold will determine how effective the film is. I hope the writing is sharp because a concept like this needs tight execution.
