I understand the criticism about the action, but I'm actually enjoying the slice-of-life moments. Sakamoto's character is so interesting; seeing him trying to live a normal life is refreshing. It is great to see the legendary Tomokazu Sugita’s voice acting, and I will continue to support this show. It’s too bad others disagree, but everyone likes something different. The news about animator pressure worries me. Hopefully, they will find a better balance as the season progresses.

I think it's funny! The comedy in Sakamoto Days is top-notch. I don't really care about the lack of fighting, the jokes are so good. People are taking this way too seriously. I’m glad it’s on Netflix, I’m just enjoying the vibes. I check out the new episodes as soon as they drop, and tell my friends about the episodes I find the funniest. I hope it gets a second season.

I hadn't heard of this series before it came out on Netflix, and I must say I really like it. I see that the voice actor, Tomokazu Sugita, does a good job. I am not understanding all of the criticism, as I find the show very entertaining. I guess some fans are more serious than I am. I’m just going to keep watching and enjoying it

As a long time manga reader, I am very upset. This adaptation is not what I was expecting. The action scenes that are so amazing in the manga, are just so bland in the anime. I have seen comments on youtube, where Japanese fans are having the same disapointments. It is very sad to see a Shonen Jump manga, that has so much potential, get such a bad adaptation. I was really hoping that this anime would be on the same level as Spy x Family, but it is not.

I'm actually loving the comedic timing in the anime! I've seen discussions on Discord where people are breaking down the jokes and references, and it's clear they're putting a lot of thought into adapting the humor. Sure, the action might not be exactly like the manga, but the laughs are definitely there. I saw a thread where someone pointed out how they're using subtle visual gags, and now I'm noticing them too. It's really fun to see the community analyzing everything

I'm finding the anime really excels at the character moments. I've seen on forums that a lot of people are connecting with Sakamoto's struggle to balance his past and present. The voice acting really brings out the nuances of his personality. I've also seen a lot of appreciation for how they're handling Shin's telepathy. It’s a hard power to animate, but the anime is doing a good job. I think they are doing a great job of showing the relationships between the characters

Dude, finally! Sakamoto is a win for us bigger guys. I've been wanting to cosplay him since I read the manga, and now that the anime's out, it's perfect. No more sucking in my gut or trying to find a 'slimming' costume. I saw on some cosplay forums a bunch of people saying the same thing. It's so refreshing to see a main character who's not some ripped dude. I mean, he's a badass, and he's fat! That's awesome. I can just get a good wig, the apron, and I'm good to go. I’m going to make the apron myself, and add some extra details. I am also going to get a good wig, and make sure it is styled correctly. I can't wait to go to the next con and see a bunch of Sakamoto cosplayers. Finally, a character I can relate to!
