November 6 is the day Netflix designated years ago to be “Stranger Things Day” as it marks the Vanishing Of Will Byers that started everything back in 1983. However, we had no idea if they were going to “celebrate” it this year, as clearly, whatever they announced was going to get lost in the post-election noise. Looks like they did it anyway…so whether people see it or not, here are all eight names from the episodes of Season Five, presented by Netflix: The Crawl The Vanishing of _______ The Turnbow Trap Sorcerer Shock Jock Escape From Camazotz The Bridge The Rightside Up The Vanishing Of What? One of the titles had to be partially obscured as it’s apparently a bit of a spoiler. Looks like the Demogorgon grabs someone else. The short video that reveals all this ends with “In the fall of 1987, one last adventure begins.” While this confirms the “time jump” the Duffers mentioned in an interview long ago, it’s not really that much of a jump. Each season takes place in a different year, usually the year after the previous season, so…nothing’s different at all. However, the character’s ages definitely won’t line up with the actors! The Vanishing Of What? One of the titles had to be partially obscured as it’s apparently a bit of a spoiler. Looks like the Demogorgon grabs someone else.

The short video that reveals all this ends with “In the fall of 1987, one last adventure begins.” While this confirms the “time jump” the Duffers mentioned in an interview long ago, it’s not really that much of a jump. The Duffers are too good at concealing spoilers, so don’t try to decipher any clues out of those titles — there probably aren’t any (we have no idea what “Camazotz” is). There are still a lot of unanswered questions. My biggest one is….remember that final shot with all the smoke rising from the Upside Down crevasses that was turning the flora to ash? That seemed pretty URGENT, don’t you think? Why would it take until the fall of 1987 to deal with that?

We won’t know for a while….Stranger Things Season 5 starts running in 2025, and will very likely be split up (if Netflix will split up Cobra Kai and Emily In Freaking Paris, they’ll stagger the rollout of this one too).

As much as I’m excited for this last season, I really hope they consider doing a special episode or spin-off set in the ’90s. Just imagine the Stranger Things vibe mixed with ’90s music, fashion, and tech—it would be incredible! The characters could be adults by then, and we’d get to see them in a whole new era. There’s so much they could play with, from the grunge scene to the dawn of the internet, and maybe even some ’90s sci-fi references. It’d be a fresh way to keep the story alive without forcing the cast to keep playing younger versions of themselves. Here’s hoping the Duffer Brothers are open to giving us one more nostalgic experience.

It makes complete sense that Stranger Things is ending now. The cast we’ve all come to love has grown up—Millie Bobby Brown, for example, just got married, and here she is still playing a character who’s supposed to be a middle schooler. It must be so awkward for her to try and embody that age again. All the kids have come so far in their lives and careers, and it’d be strange to see them trying to fit into these younger roles much longer. Even though I’m sad to see it go, I think it’s the right call to end the series before it starts feeling too forced or out of touch. We got to watch these kids grow up on screen, and now they’re moving on to the next chapters of their own lives. I’m just grateful we got to experience their journey from start to finish

I remember binge-watching the first season and just being blown away by how unique it was. These episode titles look so cryptic, which only adds to the excitement. ‘Sorcerer’ and ‘Shock Jock’ are especially intriguing—I bet they’re connected to some new supernatural threat. But as much as I’m looking forward to watching, I’m already mourning the end of the series. This show has been a constant for so long, and it feels like we’re all about to say goodbye to a big part of our lives. Thanks for the memories, Hawkins.

The end of Stranger Things feels like the end of an era. I’m going to miss seeing these characters grow up on screen. I love that the titles hint at a journey (‘The Crawl,’ ‘The Bridge’) and maybe a new start (‘The Rightside Up’), but it’s the characters I’ll miss most. Watching their friendships develop, seeing them face insane challenges together—those moments have made the show so special. It’ll be sad saying goodbye to them, but I’m grateful we got to witness their stories. I just hope everyone gets the ending they deserve

"‘The Crawl’ has me wondering if they’re going for a more intense approach to the Upside Down this season. Maybe instead of big battles, there’s this slow, creeping takeover happening in Hawkins. Like, maybe it’s not just confined to the ‘Upside Down’ anymore but is literally crawling into our world. The end of last season left things so ominous with those cracks in Hawkins—I feel like this episode could set the tone for the danger that’s about to engulf everything.
