Sony steamed out its latest State Of Play broadcast this afternoon. You never know what you’re going to get from these things, but this time, there were some pleasant surprises. Here’s the best of what we saw today… The biggest news was a bona fide sequel to Sucker Punch’s 2020 open-world adventure game Ghost Of Tsushima. This time, you’ll be controlling a different Ghost — named Atsu, under a different mountain (see title). Sony hopes to get this out sometime within 2025, which we hope happens. Love Astro Bot? Here’s some more! It’s way too soon to discuss a sequel, but there is DLC on the way. A free update later this fall will add five new online speedrun levels and new VIP Bots from games like Stellar Blade and Helldivers 2. Awwww yeah! If you’ve never touched the Lunar games on PS1 or Sega CD before that, you’re about to get another chance! Good thing too, because have you seen the prices for a copy lately? Lunar Remastered Collection will be multiplatform, not just on Playstation, and will include the cutscenes and quality of life improvements introduced in the PS1 version. Also, I sincerely hope they keep the Working […]

Dude, I'm so pumped for Ghost of Yotei! A new Ghost story set in Japan? I loved exploring Tsushima, but a new region and a new character named Atsu sounds awesome. 2025 can't come soon enough! I wonder if we'll see any familiar faces from the first game. Maybe Jin Sakai will make an appearance? Or maybe we'll get a glimpse of the future of Tsushima, years after the events of the original game. Either way, I'm all in.

More Astro Bot?! This is the BEST day ever! I can't wait to race my friends online in those new speedrun levels. And VIP Bots from Stellar Blade and Helldivers 2? That's so cool! I love playing as Astro Bot, he's so cute and fun. I hope they make a full-fledged sequel soon, maybe with a new story and new worlds to explore.

Lunar Remastered Collection?! FINALLY! I loved those games on the PS1, but the prices for originals are insane nowadays. Plus, keeping the crazy Working Designs translation is a must - that's part of the charm! Multiplatform release is a win too. I can't wait to relive the adventures of Alex and Luna, and maybe even discover some hidden secrets I missed the first time around.

I saw a streamer play it at a speedrun marathon and it looked intense! Survival horror with puzzles? Sign me up. October can't come soon enough! I love a good horror game, and Fear The Spotlight seems like it has everything I'm looking for. The atmosphere looks creepy, the puzzles seem challenging, and the monsters are terrifying. I'm definitely going to be playing this one with the lights off.

New Astro Bot levels sound like fun for the grandkids. Maybe I'll give Lunar a try, those old PS1 games always had a quirky charm. Interesting to see how VR horror evolves with The Midnight Walk. Busy times ahead for gamers! I'm not a hardcore gamer myself, but I do enjoy playing games occasionally. I'm curious to see how these new games will be received by the gaming community.
