Terry Bogard's first gameplay for Street Fighter 6

Terry Bogard, the iconic Fatal Fury character, has made a historic debut as the first non-Capcom guest fighter in the mainline Street Fighter franchise. While he’s previously crossed paths with Street Fighter characters in crossover titles like Capcom vs. SNK, SVC Chaos, and Super Smash Bros., his appearance in Street Fighter 6 marks a significant milestone. The initial trailer for Terry’s inclusion sparked controversy due to his character model, which some fans criticized as appearing rather unattractive. However, Capcom has since addressed these concerns with subsequent updates, refining his appearance to better align with the series’ aesthetic. I think they […]

Terry's face makes me uncomfortable. I know they did it because his Garou costume and Ken's new default costume looks similar.

I can see him being a top-tier character in the meta. I'm definitely going to be grinding him out when he drops. Street Fighter characters are not used to fight characters like him. I've been a huge fan of Terry since the Fatal Fury days. It's so cool to see him finally make his way into Street Fighter.

I love both of Terry's costumes. His classic Fatal Fury 2 look is iconic, but I also think his Garou outfit is really cool. It's great that we're getting both versions. I hope Capcom continues to release more costumes for Terry in the future. This is the best crossover ever! I love both series, so it's amazing to see them come together. I can't wait to see what other surprises Capcom has in store for us. I hope we see more crossover events in the future.

It's awesome to see Terry in Street Fighter, but I'd love to see SNK return the favor and put some Street Fighter characters in Fatal Fury: City of Wolves. Imagine Ryu, Ken, or Chun-Li fighting against characters like Billy Kane, Rock Howard, or Mai Shiranui. That would be a dream come true for fans of both series. or New generation Street Fighters like Luke and Jamie.

It's interesting to see Capcom bringing in guest characters from other franchises. I wonder if we'll see more of this in the future. I think it's a great way to introduce new players to the fighting game genre. Terry kinda looks ugly here though

Bro, this Terry reveal is sick. The double throwback intro, the OVA reference, his original FF1 power wave as an EX, getting almost every move he's ever had in there... it's like a dream come true for any Fatal Fury fan. The stage, music, and voice acting are awesome, and his outro is even amazing. Capcom is really going all out with this game. It's crazy when you think about it. Terry was created by a former Capcom Street Fighter developer who left for SNK to develop Fatal Fury, and now Capcom finally added Terry as a DLC for SF6 after decades. It's like it's come full circle.

The implementation of Round Wave and Quick Burn as specific strength special moves of Power Wave and Burn Knuckle, respectively, is a fantastic addition to Terry's gameplay. It's a clever nod to the 4-button layout of Fatal Fury 2, and it adds a layer of strategy and depth to his character. By having two distinct strength levels for Power Wave and Burn Knuckle, Terry's moveset becomes more versatile and allows for a wider range of combos and tactics.

Additionally, it's incredibly exciting to see Terry, the first non-Capcom character, join the mainline Street Fighter series. His inclusion marks a significant milestone and opens up the possibility for future crossovers with other franchises. Welcome aboard, Terry!

Seeing Terry Bogard in Street Fighter is a huge deal, and I hope it's a sign of things to come. It's been way too long since we've had a new Capcom vs. SNK game. I'm pushing 40, and I'm still waiting for that sequel. The original two games were absolute classics, and I'd love to see another one that builds on their legacy.I know it's probably a long shot, but I can dream, right? I just hope that Capcom and SNK are listening to the fans and realize how much we want another Capcom vs. SNK game. It's time to make it happen.
