“Good Partner” is a 2024 Viki Original Korean drama series, with 16 episodes, and is categorized as Legal Drama, and Comedy. ♦ But I Don’t Want to Handle Divorce Cases! In “Good Partner”, Han Yu-Ri, a new attorney is hired for the divorce team at Daejeong Law Firm. The first thing she wanted to know was whether there was a mistake and she was sent to the wrong department. She was sure she aced her interview and was supposed to be assigned to the corporate department. Surely someone in Human Resources made a mistake. Can someone please correct the screw-up and send her to her “real job”? We have hopes and dreams but sometimes somebody crushes them! First, Han Yu-Ri realized that her new job was not a mistake. But her second realization was even more shocking. Cha Eun-Kyung, her new boss, had specifically asked for her to be assigned to the divorce team. WHAT? She and her boss have a “history”. She was a student, her boss was the

I love Jang Na-Ra, she's hilarious in everything! Plus, a legal drama with a girl power twist? Sign me up! Ugh, gotta wait until after finals to binge-watch it, but totally adding it to my list. Divorce can be such a drag, but it's interesting how the show seems to explore the emotional toll on everyone involved. Maybe there's more to the story than just who gets the house and the car? Also, that bit about the two women crying at the funeral? Intriguing! There's always more than meets the eye, right? Definitely gotta see how that plays out. Thanks for the rec, cmoneyspinner!

I'm tired of the typical fluffy rom-coms. "Good Partner" seems like it tackles a real issue with some complex characters. The whole "rookie lawyer thrown into the deep end" trope is always fun, especially when she clashes with her boss. Reminds me of that time I had that super demanding (but secretly brilliant) supervisor at my first job. Learned a ton, though! Also, I can totally relate to Han Yu-Ri not wanting to handle divorce cases. Divorce can get messy, and sometimes you just want to believe in happily ever after, you know? But maybe the show will change her perspective. And that 9.3 rating on Viki? Super convincing! Might have to add this to my watchlist for my next weekend getaway.

Divorce is such a tough topic, but it's important to talk about it. I like that "Good Partner" seems to explore the emotional side of things, not just the legal battles. The whole "wife vs. mistress" scenario is always heartbreaking. Makes you wonder what went wrong in the marriage in the first place.

A legal drama with a focus on divorce law? Can't wait to see how they handle the legal aspects of these cases. The whole "win 10 cases for a transfer" thing seems like a fun way to keep the plot moving. Also, the clash between the idealistic rookie and the seasoned pro is a classic trope, but it can be really well-done. Reminds me of that time I interned at a law firm and saw how different lawyers approached cases. Super curious to see how Cha Eun-Kyung, the star attorney, justifies her decisions. Does she always prioritize winning over fairness? And that bit about the two women crying at the funeral? Tissues, anyone? Divorce can be messy

Not just girl power, but a star divorce attorney getting a divorce? She seemed to work out divorce settlements effortlessly when dealing with her clients. But handling her own divorce? I liked that the boss lawyer appreciated that the rookie attorney's different approach to divorce was what she needed to take on her adulterous husband.
