With less than a month out until the return of Cobra Kai, Netflix has finally released the big two-minute trailer of hype. If it seems heavy on wacky antics and light on brutal battles, there’s a reason, which we’ll get to. When we last left this show ten million years ago, Cobra Kai had faced its greatest defeat: elimination out of the Valley entirely. Coach Silver has now taken over every CK in town with plans to expand across the country. And from there…..WORLD DOMINATION, YAH HAH! This means former rivals Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence must team up — which they’ve had to do several times already, but this time they REALLY have to do it, and make it work or else. All cast members are expected to return for the final season, including Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Gianni DeCenzo, Courtney Henggeler, Vanessa Rubio, Dallas Dupree Young, Yuji Okumoto, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Griffin Santopietro and Oona O’Brien. And

Wait, Cobra Kai isn't back all at once? Netflix is splitting it into parts? That's kind of annoying, but hey, at least there's new episodes coming in July. The trailer looks pretty funny, with Johnny trying to teach Miyagi-Do moves. Hopefully, the action picks up later on, though.

OMG! The new Cobra Kai trailer is HERE! FINALLY! Who cares if it's just the first five episodes, I gotta see what's next! Looks like Johnny and LaRusso are teaming up again – about time those two stopped bickering and started kicking butt together. Can't wait to see how they take down Kreese's psycho student, Tory. Also, is that Chozen returning? This season is gonna be epic!

Final season of Cobra Kai and still no Julie Pierce? Come on, where's Hilary Swank at? They've been teasing her character since season 2, and still nothing! Maybe she'll show up in the later episodes Netflix is holding back, but man, the suspense is killing me. Is she Tory's mom? Is she a rival sensei? Guess we'll have to wait and see, but this delay is frustrating! At least the Johnny and LaRusso team-up looks funny. Just give me some closure on Julie Pierce already!

Ugh, this can't be real. Cobra Kai is finally ending? Ten million years feels like just yesterday. I'm gonna miss the fights, the drama, and Johnny's hilarious rants. Karate just won't be the same without them.

Farewell, Cobra Kai. It's been quite a journey. From the high school rivalries to the epic karate battles, this show has given us a lot. Parting ways is going to be hard. Let's hope that the final season gives our beloved characters the farewell they truly deserve.

Regarding the forthcoming final season, despite the delayed release (a concern directed towards Netflix), I hold the perspective that a premeditated conclusion, even if prolonged, is preferable to an abrupt cancellation of Cobra Kai. Ponder the potential disconcertment stemming from unresolved narrative and lingering inquiries. A deliberate denouement, despite its segmented nature, offers the writers the opportunity to concisely conclude storylines and provide the esteemed characters with a fitting farewell. Though the wait may be vexing, it is a minor concession to secure a gratifying culmination.

You know what I gotta say? I kinda appreciate Cobra Kai getting a final season, even with the weird split release. Look, I've been burned too many times by shows I loved just...disappearing. Remember Glow? Westworld? Heroes? Man, I was invested in Santa Clarita Diet and Altered Carbon, then poof, gone! It's like the writers just gave up or something.

With Cobra Kai, at least we know there's an end in sight. The creators get to tell their full story, wrap things up for the characters, and give us closure. Yeah, the wait stinks, but it beats the alternative, right? Plus, a planned ending usually means a more satisfying one. No random cliffhangers or dangling plot threads. Sign me up for that any day.
