Max knew they had to save something big for the July 4 weekend, and what’s huger than Godzilla and King Kong? The streaming debut of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has been announced for Independence Day. There’s a new monster approaching; one so formidable that both Godzilla and Kong must team up to defeat it. And even then, the combo of Godzilla’s breath and Kong’s punches might not be enough, so the humans have to help out any way they can. To prep, they need to visit Kong’s homeworld, where it turns out he isn’t the only massive-sized gorilla. And to help him take on whatever that new monster is, the humans build Kong a giant fist gauntlet. Godzilla would later mock him: “hey, I don’t need any enhancements, ape face.” If you remember last December when Max debuted Barbie with a new feature, they’ve done it again with this one. That feature is a special ASL mode for deaf viewers. This version of the film features ASL performer

Alright, let's see if The New Empire lives up to the hype. The last movie was fun, but a bit messy. This new villain sounds interesting, but I hope they don't just shove Kong and Godzilla together for convenience. Here's hoping for a well-balanced story with epic monster action.

"Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire wasn't bad, but it didn't quite blow me away. The action was great, as expected, but the story felt a bit rushed. Maybe they could have spent more time developing the human characters or the new threat.

It's a solid addition to the Monsterverse! The new villain definitely throws a wrench in things, forcing Godzilla and Kong to team up in a way we haven't seen before. Not perfect, but the action delivers, and the story expands the Monsterverse in some interesting ways

Okay, who came up with the giant spine-whip wielding orangutan? Seriously, Scar King was nightmare fuel! The whole concept is just...wrong. But in a good way, I guess? It definitely made him a memorable villain. I kept expecting him to crack a creepy grin or something. Props to the CGI team for making that whip look so gross and powerful.

Scar King was a much more interesting opponent than I expected. An intelligent ape with a unique weapon? That forced Godzilla and Kong to actually think and strategize during their fight, not just rely on brute force. The whole spinal cord whip thing was a bit out there, but it definitely kept me guessing about Scar King's tactics. This wasn't just another mindless monster to pummel

Max totally nailed it with the ASL mode in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. It's a game-changer for me as someone who's hard of hearing. Watching the whole story in sign language was like experiencing the movie for the first time. Action movies with lots of dialogue during fights can be tough to follow, but with the ASL option, I didn't miss a thing. Huge shoutout to Max for making the movie more accessible. The monster battles were epic, Kong's metal fist was awesome, and the new villain was a tough one. Definitely worth watching, especially if you've neve

Now I'm wondering, what's next for the Monsterverse? If they can make an orangutan a terrifying kaiju threat, what other unexpected creatures could they turn into giant beasts?

Imagine a colossal, fire-breathing Komodo dragon laying waste to a city, or a towering, razor-sharp-clawed sloth slowly dismantling buildings. Maybe even a pack of super-sized, bioluminescent wolves hunting in the dark. The possibilities are endless! Part of the fun of the Monsterverse is the surprise factor, never knowing what kind of crazy creature they'll throw at Godzilla and Kong next. Here's hoping they keep pushing the boundaries and unleash some truly mind-blowing kaiju on us in the future!
