The first season of X-Men 97’s is inn the home stretch, and after a short breather in episode 6 to pick up on Storm’s depowering and later repowering, we finally get down to the business of setting up the season’s Big Bad and setting things in motion for the grand finale. I played X-men Vs Street Fighter as a Kid, and I like that they referenced her Dive kick from that game. She never did the dive kick in cartoons, comics and movies. I know most people say Marvel vs Capcom 2 but her dive kick debuted in X-men vs Street Fighter.

If you Guys notice Captain America seem afraid of her... Its because Rogue debuted as a villain for the Avengers in the comics. She defeated many Avengers om her debut and that includes Captain America. I am still wondering why is she weak in those Fox made movies.but I'm loving the direction X-Men 97 is taking! It's like the perfect blend of classic 90s nostalgia and modern storytelling. Seeing Storm grapple with her powers and the team dealing with their grief after Genosha is powerful stuff. Plus, the animation is incredible!

Ugh, Beau DeMayo's firing is a complete outrage! The man brought X-Men 97 back to life with a perfect blend of nostalgia and modern storytelling. It's clear he understood the characters and the themes better than any MCU or Fox X-Men writer has in years.

His work on the show is phenomenal. The animation, the emotional depth, the fast-paced action – it all felt like a true love letter to the X-Men universe. To lose him after he's clearly poured his heart and soul into this project is a massive blow.

While we don't know the full details behind his dismissal, the reported reasons feel incredibly petty. If "creative differences" or a personal OnlyFans account are the reasons, it's a huge disservice to the fans and the show itself.

DeMayo's talent and passion for the X-Men were evident in every episode. It's a shame we won't get to see his full vision unfold, especially considering the potential for future seasons. This is a major loss for the X-Men universe, and it leaves a sour taste in the mouth of any dedicated fan.

Rogue's emotional breakdown, particularly her voice acting by Lenore Zann, is particularly powerful. It's a stark portrayal of the devastating impact of loss and the desperation it can drive. She is probably blaming herself for his death because she chose Magneto first only to realize Its Remy she loves all along.

While the action takes a backseat in this episode, the character development is the true focus, and it shines through. This episode might not be packed with explosions, but it lays the groundwork for some potentially explosive character moments in the finale.

Rogue going rogue on that government base had me cracking up. Who knew she had such a violent streak? And Captain America getting his shield ripped away is super hillarious.
