Tell Me More! “‘Dark Hole’ is about a petrochemical factory’s sinkhole that turns people into strange figures, and the people who aren’t infected try to survive.” (Description per Apple TV+) So! It’s not an alien invasion. It’s just humanity messing up humanity! No surprise it’s a petrochemical factory. Petrochemicals have been linked to birth defects, cancer, respiratory illnesses, heart failure, neurodevelopmental disorders, and climate destruction. This whole "sinkhole that turns people into monsters" thing is totally my jam. ‍ Forget aliens, a toxic waste site gone wrong is way more terrifying because it feels so real. And the detective on a revenge mission? Heck yes! I love strong female leads who can kick butt. Also, the whole "husband's killer" mystery adds another layer of intrigue. This is definitely going on my "must-watch" list!

Monster sinkhole drama, huh? Sounds kinda weird, but also weirdly intriguing. I'll definitely add it to my watchlist...when I finally get around to updating it. There are just SO many shows out there these days! Maybe I'll binge it all in one go...next weekend? Or the one after that?

Petrochemical factories causing monsters? Okay, that might be a bit of a stretch, but hey, it's sci-fi, right? Still, the whole environmental message is interesting. Maybe a bit heavy-handed, but important nonetheless. I might check it out, but mostly for the action and the detective stuff

Sinkholes turning people into monsters? Sounds like something straight out of a nightmare! "Dark Hole" definitely has my attention with its unconventional premise. And the fact that it's prompting you to delve into earth science is pretty cool. Who knew a K-drama could be both entertaining and educational?
