Joker: Folie à Deux, A twisted love story

Joker: Folie à Deux drops it’s first trailer. Joaquin Phoenix reprises his award winning supervillain role. Lady Gaga will be playing Dr. Harleen Quinzell aka Harley Quinn. Gaga being from New York made me expect her that she will be having a Brooklyn accent but she didn’t. Do not expect her to sound like Arleen Sorkin, Tara Strong or even Margot Robbie’s version. Maybe the accent is not there yet because she hasn’t turned into Harley yet. She is still the Psychiatric doctor. Joker: Folie à Deux OFFICIAL TRAILER

No matter how the movie turns out, this trailer is beautiful. Whoever edits these Joker trailers deserves a raise. The last shot of the trailer was perfect. Whoever came up with the idea should get a promotion at WB. It's rare to see a trailer that captures the essence of a film so perfectly. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds on the big screen!

Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal of the Joker was already legendary, and adding Lady Gaga to the mix as Harley Quinn is pure genius. The musical twist is unexpected but intriguing. I'm curious to see how they blend the chaos of Gotham with the rhythm of music.

I gotta admit, I'm feeling a bit weird about Harley not being Margot Robbie. I mean, don't get me wrong, Lady Gaga is incredibly talented, but Margot's portrayal of Harley Quinn was just iconic, you know? She really embodied the character in a way that's hard to match. It's like when you're used to eating your favorite flavor of ice cream, and then suddenly you're handed a different flavor. Sure, it might still taste good, but it's not quite the same. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how Lady Gaga puts her own spin on the role. Who knows, maybe she'll surprise us all.

Huh, I gotta say, I'm a bit confused. You see, in the previous films, Harley Quinn, played by Margot Robbie, sported a Brooklyn accent, even though Robbie herself is Australian. Now, with Lady Gaga, a born-and-bred New Yorker, taking on the role, it's surprising that there's no trace of any New York accent. I mean, we're talking about Gotham City here, right? But hey, maybe they're going for a different vibe this time around. Either way, it's interesting to see how each actor brings their own spin to the character.

Okay, people, let's talk music! Who doesn't enjoy a nice musical twist in a movie, right? And with Joker: Folie à Deux taking that approach, I'm intrigued. What about the teaser trailer with "What the World Needs Now Is Love" playing? Chills, man, total chills. Joaquin Phoenix belting out songs? If his previous performances are any indication, we're in for a treat. What about Lady Gaga? Come on, she's a musical powerhouse. So, count me in for some toe-tapping mayhem and anarchy.

Let's not forget the man behind the camera – Todd Phillips. This dude knows how to craft a compelling story, no doubt about it. I mean, look at what he did with the first Joker flick and A Star Is Born. Bringing back Joaquin and Gaga under his direction? It's like a reunion of brilliance. Phillips knows how to push boundaries and deliver something fresh. So yeah, I'm putting my trust in him to take us on another wild ride through Gotham City.

Seriously? Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn? What a joke! Margot Robbie IS Harley Quinn, end of story. I don't care how many awards Gaga has won or how talented she is, she's got big shoes to fill. Robbie brought depth, humor, and craziness to the role like nobody else could. This casting decision just feels like a slap in the face to all the fans who fell in love with Robbie's portrayal. DC, you better have a good explanation for this travesty.

Hold up, let's not throw shade at Lady Gaga for stepping into Harley's shoes. Yeah, Margot Robbie killed it as Harley, no doubt. But let's face it, she's got other fish to fry. I mean, Barbie? That's a massive gig, folks. And let's not forget, Margot's got range. She can tackle any role she sets her mind to. So, instead of bashing Gaga, let's give her a chance to bring her own spin to Harley. Who knows, she might just surprise us all.

Do you know what I'm hoping for with all of this Joker hype? More solo villain films! Come on, how amazing would it be to delve into Mr. Freeze's tragic story? Consider this: a scary genesis narrative that pulls at your heartstrings, detailing his mission to preserve his beloved wife. We need more complex antagonists in the spotlight, not just heroes. So come on, DC, show some love for the evil guys! Give us the Freeze flick that we deserve!
