<p>After Konami booted Hideo Kojima, he was able to free himself from the endless Metal Gear sequel grind to expand his imagination into some truly weird places. Death Stranding, the epic tale of a delivery man and his baby in a jar, was the result of that — and it’s expanding beyond just a video game.</p>

Seriously? I love Death Stranding, but turning it into a movie? I'm not sure how that's gonna work. Kojima's games are known for their intricate, often convoluted plots that take hours to unfold. Can they really capture that essence in a two-hour film? Color me skeptical, but hey, I'll reserve judgment until I see the first trailer.
