After Konami booted Hideo Kojima, he was able to free himself from the endless Metal Gear sequel grind to expand his imagination into some truly weird places. Death Stranding, the epic tale of a delivery man and his baby in a jar, was the result of that — and it’s expanding beyond just a video game.

Seriously? I love Death Stranding, but turning it into a movie? I'm not sure how that's gonna work. Kojima's games are known for their intricate, often convoluted plots that take hours to unfold. Can they really capture that essence in a two-hour film? Color me skeptical, but hey, I'll reserve judgment until I see the first trailer.

Death Stranding is a freaking walking simulator. it felt like a movie already. Why make a movie out of it . LOL

A Death Stranding movie? Intriguing, but I hope they tread carefully. Adapting a video game into a film is no easy task. Kojima's promise of a unique cinematic experience is encouraging, though. Let's hope they maintain the essence without losing newcomers in the labyrinth of Kojima's mind.

A Death Stranding movie? Meh, I guess that could be interesting. Not a huge gamer, but if they can make it entertaining for the average moviegoer without losing us in the gaming jargon, why not? Let's see if it's worth the hype when it hits the theaters.
