Big Announcements From Pokemon Presents Livestream

Nintendo promised a new live video full of Pokemon-related announcements this morning, and that is what we got. It’s off-season to announce anything really huge, so this set of trailers was mostly spinoffs or expansions for existing games. Don’t expect the moon this time.

I've noticed something really interesting that hasn't been getting much attention. Have you all seen that peculiar giant mask that Ogerpon obtains when it goes through terastilization? It's quite an intriguing visual transformation, and I can't help but wonder what purpose it serves. I'm sincerely hoping that the teal mask becomes an item in the Pokémon world, allowing various Pokémon to don the mask and acquire a distinct tera type. It would be a fantastic way to add depth to battles and strategy, making each Pokémon even more unique. While it's currently associated with Ogerpon, I'm crossing my fingers that this mask concept will be extended to other Pokémon as well.

Additionally, I've come across some news that Miraidon and Koraidon might be gaining the ability to fly. This potential development could be a game-changer, providing new dimensions to exploration and battles. Flying Pokémon have always had a special place in our hearts, and the idea of these two joining the ranks of aerial Pokémon is really exciting. Let's keep an eye on these developments and see how they unfold in the ever-evolving world of Pokémon!

Something in this article that was actually addressed during the Pokémon Presents event is missing, as far as I can tell. The ability to alter how you throw Poké Balls during battles, exactly like in Sun and Moon, is being brought back. This is great news because it gives battles a more individualized feel. I sincerely hope they handle it well this time, though. It's a huge improvement that has hitherto gone unnoticed. I'm crossing my fingers that they get the throw correct because it can make battles even more interesting. I'm interested to see how they implement this feature in the forthcoming Pokémon games because these tiny touches can significantly alter the gameplay experience.

I'm overjoyed that Duraludon is finally receiving some justice! It's upsetting to see all of the negative buzz surrounding this DLC. The game's performance hasn't been great, but I'm hopeful there's more to the story. Perhaps the creators are working hard behind the scenes to create a new generation that effortlessly incorporates various compelling qualities from Legends Arceus into the core of the main narrative.
The idea of incorporating some of the novel elements present in Legends Arceus into the main series is really appealing. It has the potential to revitalize the series and improve the gameplay experience. While others may remain pessimistic, I choose to be positive. Let us hope that the makers are not only resolving the game's existing flaws, but also laying the way for an exciting expansion of the Pokemon universe.

I saw they're adding new Pokemon cartoons online. It's cool, but it's weird that the main show is changing characters without any mention in the video. I wonder how the new kids will do as the main characters.

It's pretty sad that this DLC, which had the potential to significantly transform the game, feels hurried and retains the same degree of problems and subpar visuals as the original edition. It begs the question of why the developers couldn't invest in more skilled hands to assure a more enjoyable experience. With so much time, money, and resources at their disposal, it's perplexing that they haven't invested more in improving the game's quality. And, certainly, we are frustrated; why aren't we expressing more outrage? It's difficult for me to believe that I'm the only one who feels this way. The community deserves better, and our collective discontent should be heard louder.

Pokemon Stadium 2 and Trading Card Game on Nintendo Switch Online is great news. But it seems like you need that Transfer Pak thing for Pokemon Stadium 2 to work properly. And the Trading Card Game as a video game could be fun to play.

Getting Mew and Mewtwo sounds awesome! I remember how Mewtwo used to be really powerful. Now it's easier to get Mew by typing a code, but beating an in-game event for Mewtwo sounds like a challenge.

I'm not sure about the separate DLC chapters for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It seems cool to explore different content, but owning both games just for that might be a bit much. The new Pokemon like Okidogi and Munkidori sound interesting though.

Detective Pikachu is back! I'm excited for the new case and the friends Pikachu will team up with. The graphics might not be super fancy, but I agree, the gameplay matters most. Can't wait for its release on October 6 for the Switch.
