Late this fall Oni Press will be bringing us Rick and Morty: The Manga, aka the black-and-white adventures of a mad scientist and his family in a world of giant robots. Upon the initial announcement of this title last March, they let us show off a ten-page preview of the book, which you can still see here. Now they’ve let us look at five MORE pages! You can check them out below.

I just read the new Rick and Morty manga preview, and it's amazing! The idea of Morty piloting a giant robot to battle the Jiants is so cool, and it totally reminds me of those giant mech anime shows. It's like they combined Attack on Titan and Neon Genesis Evangelion into one epic adventure!

I loved how they brought in the concept of giant robots, just like in Mobile Suit Gundam, and that robot Morty's piloting looks remarkably similar to one from Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's like a perfect blend of all the best elements!I'm impressed by how they managed to poke fun at things while also giving a nod to what makes manga so special.

This so-called "Rick and Morty: The Manga" seems like quite the impostor! With an art style lacking the authentic anime aesthetic and non-Japanese writers, it's hard to consider it a true manga. It appears more like a black and white comic trying to capitalize on the popularity of the Rick and Morty franchise. I'm disappointed they're using the "manga" label to attract fans when it's clearly not the real deal

Those Naked Jerries turns me off. It just feels unnecessary and kind of gross. I wish they'd focus more on the clever humor and sci-fi adventures we love from the show rather than resorting to such cheap and distasteful gimmicks

Oh my gosh, I'm fangirling so hard right now! The manga version of Rick and Morty is going to be so much fun. In Rick and Morty: The Manga Vol. 1, they face off against a giant and ferocious Jerry, and Rick's solution is absolutely bonkers—a mech fighting robot! And guess who gets to pilot it? Morty's new friend, Rowan. I can't wait to see how this quirky adventure unfolds with all the action and absurdity!

I don't really mind it 'cause it's like a tribute to manga. Even if it's not exactly like real manga with the anime look and Japanese writers, it's still a fun version of Rick and Morty. People should just chill and enjoy it for what it is.In the end, it's just a fun and creative take on Rick and Morty, and I think people should chill down a bit. Instead of getting caught up in labels, let's appreciate the effort and passion that went into creating this comic.

At least Rick and morty fans have something to rid while waiting for a new season that is delayed because of writer's strike and the controversial recasting.
