Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo! is now available in DVD/Blu-ray and Digital. This is the 34th, yes 34th installment for the straight-to-video Scooby Doo movies. Yes, we recently had a Cinematic Scooby Doo movie with Scoob but this particular film gets more international attention.

First, we will finally know who makes those costumes the fake monsters and ghosts the Mystery Inc had apprehended. Cast members from the original Mystery, Inc. will return to reprise their roles, which is certain to delight the show’s many fans. Matthew Lillard had been playing Shaggy for both Animated and live-action for a long time and his dedication to this stoner is admirable. Frank Welker plays Both Scooby-Doo! and...

Warner Bros disabled the comment section of the trailer. They know it will be too controversial because of Velma.

You can disagree with me if you like, but Velma has never, ever been portrayed as a lesbian in any production. From an early age, she had a soft spot for the male gender. Sam in the Supernatural crossover, Winsor from Legend of the Phantosaur, and Johnny Bravo all appear. The Shaggy character appears in SD:MI. Everything depicted here is just her being ridiculously starstruck. Oh no, Scooby Doo woke up. Putting it to use now

In Scooby Doo's 20+ year run, there have been countless scenes of straight kissing, sexual tension, and romantic entanglements. A single gay crush is all it takes to reduce homophobes to tears. Funny how homophobes get so worked up over a cartoon character having a crush on a girl. They messed up when they tried shipping Shaggy and Velma for so long, so I'm glad they made her a lesbian.

Scooby Doo continuity is about as stable as a stash of cards in wind, so those who think Velma being a lesbian makes no sense due of past crushes should take this movie with a grain of salt. Also, one of the show's writers revealed that his secret goal all along was to turn Velma Bi in the mystery incorporated series. This explains why she has a thing for both Coco and Shaggy. However, this time they resolved to fully erase their Bisexuality and make her full gay. Similarly, the movie deviates from the established Scooby Doo canon. It continues the storyline established by Mystery, Inc.

Never in a million years did I think I'd see an official, explicitly gay Velma, but I'm down with it. It's nice to watch Daphne serving as her wingwoman. The time for Shaggy to come clean about his marijuana consumption is now, since the drug is now legal. Let's be honest, he has the demeanor and appearance of a pot smoker.

The same methods that worked for Buzz Lightyear will be applied to Scooby-Doo. People won't take their kids to watch it because they know it's inappropriate. They definitely did this only for diversity to the new generation, but it's odd how Velma suddenly becomes a lesbian even though she was dating Shaggy in Mystery, Inc. The laziness on Hollywood's creativity to create new characters to make representation instead of changing established characters.

Ohh...! I've only watched Scooby Doo once a long time ago. Seems like I will have to start following up.
