Fortnite Impostors

Fornite Impostors Mode:

Fortnite introduces a new upcoming model that plays similar to Among us. This new model is called Fortnite Impostors. The rules are very similar to the viral game but with better graphics.

Even though Among us is not the first game to have such mechanic, they are the ones who perfected it for a low budget. InnerSloth LLC, is a small independent company composed of a team of three people. Meanwhile,Epic Games the creator of Fortnite is a 30 Billion dollar company. So them ripping of the underdogs is a bit tasteless but it is completely legal.

Epic games are willing to collaborate with big companies like Disney, Warner Brothers, Capcom, etc but not with a smaller company. Fans may have better reception of this if it’s a legit collaboration instead of an obvious milking of neighbor’s cow. When Capcom made a hit out of Street Fighter II, Ripoffs came out everywhere which created a videogame genre. The Fighting game genre is a free real estate because of the lack of patent. Fortnite did copy some concepts from Minecraft and Z1. You won’t see something similar happened when Sims becomes a hit because EA patented the life simulator concept.
