Just moments ago Ubisoft released the first ever trailer for Assassin’s Creed III. If what we’re hearing is true, most if this is actually in engine and not just a pre-rendered cutscene. It looks amazing so stop reading this and watch it!

Most likely pre-rendered in engine and not a total cutscene. Probably looks a good bit better than the actual game will, but still.
Have serious doubts that is in-engine. Looks more like a pre-rendered cutscene.
