Fight of Gods Coming to the Switch
Fight of Gods heads to Nintendo Switch
As kids we always had those hypothetical fights of who would win. Goku vs Superman, Batman vs Iron man, Buddha vs Jesus? That is the basis of the game Fight of Gods. A fighting game that pits gods to fight each other. Think Smite if it were a Street Fighter like game.
While its beginnings are on Steam it was banned in Malaysia and Singapore most likely for religious reasons. At Tokyo Sandbox, an indie game convention in Japan. The developer Cosen announced that it will be hitting the Japanese e-shop later this year for 1500 yen or about fourteen US dollars with all current DLC included. Though with the e-shop being region free you do not need to be in Japan to buy and play it. There will be modifications to character abilities to fit the controls for the Switch.
The gameplay itself looks, as mentioned before, similar to Street Fighter and many classic fighting games. You’ll have access to combos and finishing moves to use on opponents. The roster includes gods from Asia, Greece, Rome, and Middle East. The graphics also fit Street Fighter style. But quality is more what you would expect from some indie games that try to match it. So far the voices are in Japanese since there is no confirmation of it coming to the English speaking e-shop countries. Though that may change in the future, either right before release or sometime after.
