Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Set for PS4 Remaster

Quantic Dream announced on Twitter this week that a classic favorite is getting revived for a remastered PlayStation 4 version in Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy. The remastered version of the game will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 next month.

The game was originally released for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in the past. A remastered version was later released for iOS, Windows PC, Mac and Linux operating systems. However, this one will be a bit different. The new remastered version will be a 1080p remastered version from the PlayStation 2 to the PlayStation 4.

Quantic Dream has built a pretty strong track record as of late, and getting a 1080p remaster for one of the classic games in their catalog should be a nice upgrade. The news builds off the company’s reveals for Detroit: Become Human at E3 2016. You can also check out a video of that E3 trailer for Detroit: Become Human in the player below.

This will be a great way for fans to either experience Fahrenheit again in such a strong format, or a new generation of players who never got the chance with it before to experience it for the first time. Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy 1080p Remaster will be released worldwide on July 18. The game will be available exclusively as a digital release at the PlayStation Store for $14.99.
