8. Saints Row: The Third

The Saints Row series has been a refreshing change from all of the realism the industry has been throwing at us, and we can’t wait to finally get our hands on a title that promises to be even more extreme then its predecessors. You can view the short clip of Saint’s Row: The Third below.

7. Batman: Arkham City

Rocksteady has quickly become one of the premier developers in the gaming industry and Batman: Arkham Asylum competed admirably with the overall 2009 Game of the Year winner Uncharted 2.  Will Arkham City include co-op? How will Rocksteady possibly improve on a nearly flawless product? We can’t wait to see what Rocksteady pulls out of their utility belts. You can view a trailer for Batman: Arkham City below.

6. Gears of War 3

After a fantastic multiplayer beta, we are very excited to see more regarding Gears of War 3’s singleplayer, though we wouldn’t mind seeing a bit more of multiplayer. What other features does Epic Games have planned for Gears of War 3? We can’t wait to find out. You can view a gameplay clip for Gears of War 3 below.

5. Battlefield 3

If there’s any shooter that could possibility throw Call of Duty off it’s high horse it would be Battlefield 3. Like Homefront last year, we will no doubt see Battlefield banners draped everywhere within the Convention Center. How will Battlefield 3 play? Will it be like Bad Company 2? How does the upgraded engine improve on an already solid formula. We can’t wait to check it out. You can view a trailer for the highly anticipated title Battlefield 3 below.
