Lay Waste Games LLC has introduced DRAGOON: GOLD EDITION to Kickstarter. We’re a bit late on reporting this since the campaign on that site has already ended, but that doesn’t mean the product is unavailable. Thanks to a second campaign on the site Backerkit, you can still preorder a copy.
If DRAGOON looks familiar to you, that’s because it was originally crowdfunded in 2015. Having sold through all their stock, Lay Waste decided to launch a reprint campaign — but this time, add some new material. In addition to the base DRAGOON game, you can also get the Rogue and Barbarian Expansion, which adds asymmetrical gameplay and increases the number of allowed players — now you can have up to six.
It’s called the Gold Edition because some of the pieces will be gold-plated…others will have silver, copper and black nickel finishes. This doesn’t raise the cost as much as one would think….the standard non-bling version is $30, and the Gold Edition is just ten bucks more at $40.
Support the campaign and get DRAGOON today! ….well, in November, when the game will be printed and ready to ship.
