Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Set for October

The next game in the Dragon Ball video game franchise finally has a release date, and it was revealed this week at the 2016 Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California. Bandai Namco Games officially announced this week at the anime expo that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will launch later this October. A new gameplay for the upcoming Dragon Ball franchise game was also released, and you can check it out in the player below.

Bandai Namco also confirmed that DJ Steve Aoki will remix several classic DBZ songs for the anticipation of the upcoming game. In addition, Aoki will also appear in the actual game as a non-playable character in the hub city, Conton.

So far the game is looking promising. The graphics look better than ever. It also looks like a fun, alternate take on the Dragon Ball mythos and universe, as great villains show up at different points in the DB and DBZ timeline. That looks like a fun way to mix the Dragon Ball universe up overall. Plus it looks like there are some great, new customization options.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 launches on October 25 in the US for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will then hit Windows PC via Steam on october 23.
