Dishonored 2 Trailer Secrets Revealed!

Fans were really excited when Dishonored 2 was officially announced at E3 this past June, and it came with a trailer that both mystified and astounded those who are fans of the title. In a special video released by Arkane and narrated by co-creative director Harvey Smith, we get to find out some of the secrets behind the announcement trailer:

First up? What can you do in the game that was in the trailer?

“Everything Emily [Kaldwin] does in this trailer, you can do in the game.”

Yep, everything! This includes going to and walking around the stately manor we see in the trailer, which is apparently a mission level in the game called the Clockwork Mansion.

Also though, the man behind the desk in the reveal trailer? It’s Kirin Jindosh, the grand inventor for Serkonos who works for the duke. He also has a portrait of Anton Sokolov, because “Jindosh was actually one of Sokolov’s students,” according to Smith.

Smith also noted that while the Clockwork Soldiers would be made of ceramic in the beginning of the game, later versions that you’ll meet will be made of wood and are taller with bird-like heads.
