Dishonored 2 Trailer Leaks Ahead of E3

Gamespot reports that the E3 trailer for Dishonored 2 has leaked online early. You can check out the video, featuring some new gameplay footage at this link. The trailer was leaked ahead of its planned official debut at tonight’s Bethesda Softworks press briefing for E3 2016.

The trailer features an introduction to the new setting for the sequel, Karnaca. It also shows a character, who is possibly Emily Kaldwin, falling into The Void, an alternate dimension that’s inhabited by The Outsider. It also shows how Emily gets her supernatural abilities. The Outsider catches Emily as she falls. The Outsider looks considerably older from the last game.

Emily’s abilities are also showcased in the trailer. She can now use “Mesmerize,” where she summons an obelisk to enthrall onlookers, and also the Shadow Walk. Some of the new enemy types are also shown in the trailer. So far the footage looks very promising and impressive overall.

Dishonored 2 is due out in stores and digitallyon November 11. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The game will likely be showcased tonight for Bethesda’s planned E3 2016 press conference. It starts at 7PM PST/9PM EST. You can watch the briefing at this link.
