Dishonored 2 Set to Receive Free Update
Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios officially announced today that Dishonored 2 is going to receive a free update next month. The free update will add a number of new features, including New Game + and new Custom Difficulty settings. The new gameplay video emphasizes how gamers can choose how they approach the gameplay and style of Dishonored however they wish. The game features the mad witch Delilah seizing the throne of the Empire from Empress Emily Kaldwin. Players can then take the role of Emily Kaldwin or her father, Corvo Attano to take back the throne. One option players can choose to take is to play and beat the game without any powers at all. Or they can use their powers to stay hidden in the shadows, or they can openly wreak havoc against their enemies.
New Game + will be a welcome overall addition to the game. Considering the way Dishonored 2 emphasizes players given the choice and freedom to approach the story however they want, the way they can customize the settings should be interesting.
Dishonored 2 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. More details on the free content update and its release date will be revealed later on.
