Games studio Resolution Games and publisher Wizards of the Coas have announced the upcoming release of Demeo x D&D Battlemarked this November 2025. Players have been anxiously anticipating the good news and are already lining up for preorders.
After showing the first campaign, ‘Embers of Chaos,’ for Demeo x DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Battlemarked at Steam Next Fest, Resolution Games has now shared new details about the second half of the game, which will be released on November 20 for Steam, PlayStation, and Meta Quest.
In this digital fantasy tabletop adventure, players can enjoy D&D in a whole new way.
The second campaign, ‘Crown of Frost,’ will take players to the snowy northern part of the Forgotten Realms for a story full of mystery and battles.
“I’ve always believed D&D’s power lies in its places as much as its protagonists,” said Matt Sernett, Narrative Designer on Battlemarked and former Writer and Game Designer at Wizards of the Coast, with a passion for lore creation.
“Icewind Dale, Ten Towns, Frost Keep: these are not just backdrops, but characters in their own right. Setting a story here, in contrast to our already announced campaign that features settings like Neverwinter Wood and Cragmaw Castle, gives us the ability to deliver two full campaigns at launch that honor the breadth of adventure to be found in the Forgotten Realms.”
What to Expect in the ‘Crown of Frost’ campaign
In the ‘Crown of Frost’ campaign, heroes venture into Icewind Dale, which is on the brink of war. You will encounter dangerous creatures as you travel from Lonelywood to the Spine of the World. Here new partnership will rise as many meet various allies and adversaries along the way.
Here are the key takeaways that you can expect in the new campaign.
- Icewind Dale is getting ready for war
- Armies are gathering at Frost Keep, and a Frost Giant has appeared where it shouldn’t be
- As you travel, you will face danger like dire wolves and other cold-loving enemies
- On your journey, you’ll meet both allies and enemies, including giants, ravens, goblins, kobolds, slaadi, and more.
