Crunchyroll Updates Winter 2025 Anime Season Schedule

Remember that anime schedule Crunchyroll posted last month? It’s been revised. The previous schedule left out a few premieres, apparently, and though half of the schedule has already passed, Crunchy figured releasing the full list of corrections would be better, to spotlight the anime they meant to earlier (and is still on the server to watch anytime, after all).

Highlights of the list that still have yet to premiere include Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE, The Apothecary Diaries Season 2, and The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You Season 2. (Oh wait….Dr. Stone premiered last night. It’s here we should probably explain this list was meant to be posted yesterday, but due to technical issues did not get posted until today. Just pretend it’s yesterday.)

Crunchyroll‘s full list of corrections lies below, and the original, more detailed list with trailers for each show can be found here.

I’ve been looking forward to this winter lineup, and seeing the corrections gives me even more to anticipate. I’m especially excited for Solo Leveling Season 2 and Blue Exorcist -The Blue Night Saga- since both have been long-awaited by fans. The updates make it easier to plan my watch schedule, though I wish Crunchyroll could have posted this list on time. It’s a little frustrating, but at least the content is there now.

Honey Lemon Soda and Promise of Wizard caught my eyeβ€”I prefer lighter, feel-good anime over action-packed series. Having everything listed in one place makes it easier to choose what to try.

Seeing Dragon Ball DAIMA in the lineup immediately took me back to my childhood watching Dragon Ball Z. I’m curious how this will expand on the franchise, especially since Crunchyroll has the exclusive dub. While some of the newer shows sound overly gimmicky, this one has the legacy to back it up. I’ll be tuning in for sure.

It’s great that Crunchyroll is releasing so much content, but their scheduling issues are tiresome. How do they expect fans to stay loyal when announcements are delayed or incomplete? Momentary Lily and Grisaia Phantom Trigger are on my radar, but Crunchyroll needs to fix these organizational flaws to maintain credibility.

I’m glad Crunchyroll went ahead and fixed their earlier mistakes. Better late than never, right? The lineup looks packed, and there’s something for everyone. I’m intrigued by Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective because it’s not often you see a medical drama with a mystery twist in anime. It’s refreshing to have variety instead of just isekai after isekai.
