Gamescom – The Crew Also Coming To Xbox 360
Ubisoft announced today that The Crew will also be coming to Xbox 360 on November 11, in addition to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
“It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation,” said Geoffroy Sardin, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but we have always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible. We’re excited to bring The Crew’s same core features, massive scope, mission variety, and overall driving experience to Xbox 360 players.”
Asobo Studio will be developing the Xbox 360 version, with assistance from Ivory Tower, Ubisoft Reflections, and Ubisoft Shanghai.
Ubisoft also announced that the closed beta that took place on PC in July will continue on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in late September. No other details or dates were revealed, but Ubisoft promises more will be “communicated at a later time.”
The Crew is an open world racing game that takes you and your friends on a reckless ride inside a recreation of the United States, full with exciting challenges and populated by other real players.
There is no word whether The Crew will also come to the PS3, but you can expect it to be released on November 11 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
