Clinton Road Getting Select Theatrical Run
Clinton Road, the upcoming horror-thriller from Samera Entertainment and Midnight Releasing, will be given a ten-city theatrical run in addition to its release on demand. At this time we don’t know who the ten cities will be, but we do know that ex-rapper from SVU is in the film.
Yes, Ice-T plays one of the characters– though not the central one. The man this whole adventure is focusing on just lost his wife. However, he doesn’t have a body to prove it because she disappeared on Clinton Road, a rural stretch of highway believed to be haunted. Nothing to do but set out for Clinton Road himself to find her, because after all, there’s no such thing as ghosts….
In addition to Ice-T, Clinton Road Stars James DeBello (Cabin Fever, Detroit Rock City), Vincent Pastore (“The Sopranos”, Goodfellas), Erin O’Brien (Pernicious, Killing Joan), Ace Young (“Bones”), Katie Morrison (“The Blacklist”), Bo Dietl (“Vinyl”), and Oscar Nominee Eric Roberts. The film was directed by Steve Stanulis and Richard Grieco, and produced by Grieco, Noel Ashman and Steve Stanulis.
You can check out the highway’s legend for yourself when Clinton Road appears on VOD June 14. The ten cities getting the theatrical run will be revealed soon.
In the film, scripted by Derek Ross Mackay, a widowed fire fighter seeks closure after his wife goes missing on an actual haunted road in rural New Jersey but must unlock the roads secret if he wants to get out alive.
