25 years ago a game was released for PC called Little Big Adventure. The game became a classic for its platform, was also released on the original Playstation, and had a sequel in 1997. Now Wayo Records, a French label devoted to video games and their fans, is planning an official release of the soundtrack — both original and rearranged.

The Little Big Adventure Symphonic Suite will include the full soundtracks of both Little Big Adventure and Little Big Adventure 2, plus a live orchestrated rearrangement of several of the best tunes. The project will cost $27,908 in total, and Wayo is hoping they can offset that cost through crowdfunding.

“I am very glad to be able to announce this musical project, for which I am currently finishing the new arrangement and orchestration of the music from Little Big Adventure 1 and 2, that I wished to give a new form,” says composer Philippe Vachey. “Very soon, we will launch the finalization of this beautiful production in Lyon and Paris (France), with the participation of the best professionals in the music industry. I think it will sounds great and we look forward to your support. I hope to see you all very soon!”
