Captain America Civil War: New Set Images Released
Marvel Entertainment this week released a slew of new images for Captain America: Civil War, including some new behind-the-scenes images and new photo stills from the upcoming film. Some are quite impressive and dynamic, and some others are quite revealing. This includes what appears to be the first image of Chadwick Boseman, as T’Challa of Wakanda aka Black Panther, sans his Black Panther costume and mask. You can check out the images in the gallery below (click on the thumbnails to see the full-size images).
The clear lineup of Iron Man’s team is pretty cool. It sheds any doubt of who’s side Black Panther is on during the film. At least for the majority of the story, Black Panther appears to be on the registration side with Iron Man, along with Black Widow, The Vision and War Machine. Meanwhile, Captain America’s side includes Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Falcon and Winter Soldier aka Bucky Barnes. There’s also some new pics of Black Widow in action in what appears to be one of the film’s earlier action sequences, when the Avengers are in pursuit of Crossbones.
In Captain America: Civil War, governments around the world now hold Earth’s heroes accountable for their actions, despite the lives they have saved. The heroes become divided as Captain America and Iron Man butt heads and also armor and shields while they both fight for what they believe in. The film arrives in theaters on May 6.
