Buffy The Vampire Slayers Gets A Board Game

In an age where anything, and everything, can be a game, a slew of classic games and TV shows are becoming board games for die hard fans to enjoy. This weeks entry? Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

As revealed on Jasco Games, the board game representation of the classic TV series by Joss Whedon will arrive on October 28th of this year, and will basically have gamers going through an entire season of the show in one go.

Each playthrough of the game will be unique, as there will be different monsters pulled from the TV show that you’ll have to fight. Furthermore, there will be times where the game will try and trip you up with special mechanics. Including, having to sing while you play.

You and up to five players will patrol the town as classic Buffy characters and try to save the world before the apocalypse literally counts before your very eyes.

You can pre-order the game via the link above. Below, is the synopsis for the game:

“Into every generation a slayer is born: One girl in all the world, a chosen one. She alone will wield the strength and skill to fight the vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their number. She is the Slayer. Help Buffy the Vampire Slayer protect Sunnydale from the forces evil in this fully cooperative board game.”
