EPISODE OF THE WEEK
Well this is a special installment of the EPISODE OF THE WEEK.This week we a classic superhero team-up: BATMAN and SUPERMAN!
Superman:TAS
Episodes #39, 40, 41
WORLD’S FINEST Parts 1, 2, 3
Airdate:Sept. 12th/13th
This is no doubt the best meeting of the superheroes and I doubt there next meetings will top it! The animation is amazing and the plot works! The Joker heads to Metropolis with 20 pounds of Kryptonite to kill Superman…for a price. Where Joker goes Batman can’t be far behind but he encounters an obstacle: love. When he arrives at Metropolis (as Bruce Wayne) he meets Lois Lane and they instantly click and hit it off! Then the trouble begins. Batman first meets Superman in a nightclub brawl. The Joker kidnaps Lois! Luthor is under tremendous heat from both the Joker and the “bullies in long underwear”. All I can say is that it’s an action packed 60+ minute movie that shouldn’t be missed. Great animation and a great finale! And ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY gave the BATMAN/SUPERMAN movie (which is World’s Finest) a rating of ‘A-‘!Not bad hunh?

EPISODE TO MISS:
SUPERMAN #26-MONKEY FUN
You can skip this weekday episode. Its not really a bad episode, but just a run of the mill beat-the-crap-out-of-a-mutant episode. Some funny scenes and dialogue make it worthwhile, but nowhere near a GREAT episode.
