Because It Had To Happen: Ouija Shark 2

In 2020 Wild Eye Releasing brought us something called Ouija Shark. The plot: a crude-looking Ouija board washes up on the beach, a group of teenagers uses it, and they wind up summoning a ghost shark that swims around the air, attacking random people. This newspost is about the imminent sequel, not the original, but you REALLY need to see this trailer again if you don’t remember it. It’s quite something:

Life-changing, right? Be prepared to get blown away twice. The Ouija Shark is coming back in a sequel where the only one who can stop it is a sorcerer with a history of fighting it. Where was he in the first movie? Who knows, and who cares? The point is that to slay the shark once and for all (unless there’s a Ouija Shark 3), the sorcerer must lure it into a “multiverse hellscape.” Like Space Jam 2?

No trailer has been released for Ouija Shark 2, but we do have the still up above that suggests it will face off against a Ouija Crocodile, or maybe a Ouija Alligator. There will actually be a Blu-Ray for this movie and it’s a lot more stuffed with features than movies of this type typically are. Look at all this:

Ouija Shark 2 stars Deborah Jayne Reilly Smith, Kylie Gough, Simon Wheeldon and John Migliore. It will arrive on digital July 25, while the aforementioned Blu-Ray will show up August 15.
