    Cobra Kai’s announcement for Season 6 got released by Netflix. It looks ravishingly epic as always because this Karate Kid revival creates the Miyagi-verse. The Miyagi-verse is composed  First 4 Karate Kid movies and The Cobra Kai TV show. However,The Karate Kid animated series and The Jaden Smith Reboot are not part of it. Karate kid 4 aka The Next Karate kid is also part of the canon but It’s main character Julie Piece (Hillary Swank) have yet to make an appearance to the series. If you are a fan of the Karate Kid movies, you will love this because it is a love letter to the fans. People who never watched a single Karate kid movie adored this show as well.   Every Season there is a character from the movies who makes special appearances. Invincible Season 2  is coming  this late 2023 according to this teaser from their official Twitter account. The Long wait is over,  Making the second season taking almost 2 years is understandable because it is hand drawn animation. Also we had been through a long Pandemic so production may had slowed down. Scream VI have a new Ghostface and whoever this person is, he or she  have New York’s as their domain. It will be the first movie in the franchise to not have the long time Final girl and protagonist Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell). Fans can still have their those of nostalgia because actors from the past movies like Courteney Cox and Hayden Panettiere reprises their roles as Gale Weathers and Kirby Reed. After Survivor brutal massacres from copycat killers, Sydney deserves her happy ending. She already got it in the past film. The Carpenter sisters will take over as main characters for Scream VI. Scream VI official trailer   The Ghostface  survivors except from Sydney Prescott had moved to New York. Sam Carpenter(Melissa Barrera) and her sister Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega) thought that they can start over again. In the trailer though, there is a new killer who had taken over the identity. This new Ghostface has a shrine to previous Ghostfaces and appears to be targeting previous survivors.

Wendell and Wild is a comeback from director Henry Selick. He made the iconic  stop motion animated horror film for kids Coraline. That movie was marketed for kids but people considered it as a horror film. Clay Animation use to be norm back in the 1970s. It was used for special effects too in place of CGI that was not invented yet. Stop Animation became a rarity when 3d Became a norm. Computer animation is able to achieve the same aesthetic for cheaper price and shorter time. Stop Motion is done by taking pictures of clay models (sometimes they use dolls) as  the animator slowly alters the models to make them look like their are moving.  It is time consuming so less directors are making them. It’s possible that Wendell and Wild may bring back some of Coraline’s creepy but kid-friendly vibe. The Woman King is a game-changer because it uses African history to give Black representation in historical films instead of the familiar setting. This movie gives life to a historical event in Africa. Even if African countries have a plethora of historical heroes, Many of them are yet to appear on the Silver screen. The Kingdom of Dahomey (present-day Benin) was one of Africa’s most powerful kingdoms. They resisted surrendering in and letting the Europeans colonize them. Shazam 2: Fury of the Gods released its first teaser. The first film is an unexpected hit, making $366 million at the box office.
