Arrow Star Speaks Out On EP Controversy
Over the past few weeks, many high-profile people have been outed for harassment of female co-workers, among others. This has rocked Hollywood to its core, and it’s gone through movies and TV shows alike. Sadly, the Arrowverse was not exempt from this, and showrunner of Flash and Supergirl Andrew Kreisberg has been accused of such allegations, and as such has been suspended from the shows while an investigation is going on.
For those wondering how the stars of the various shows are reacting to this, some have made statements. Including Stephen Amell of Arrow. In a Facebook video, he put his full support behind his female co-workers, as well as anyone who works on the various CW/DCTV shows. As it’s them who are the victims here.
“If anyone ever feels anything less than 100 percent safe, or anyone feels as though they aren’t allowed to express themselves and be the person that they are, that they should come to whomever they’re supposed to go to, and I’ll stand right beside them, right behind them,” he continued. “I’ll speak on their behalf if need be.”
Aside from this statement, Amell refuses to speculate or comment on the investigation itself. It should be noted that all the CW shows are continuing regardless of what happens here.
