Finally! As a celebration for the latest trailer of Black Widow, Here is the good old Titanic Meme.
Black Widow has been a part of the MCU for a long time. She was indeed a staple in different films in the MCU canon.
People thought that she will never have a solo movie. It even became a Comedy Sketch starring Scarlett Johansson herself.
Johansson’s controversial adaptation of Ghost in a Shell helped neither. Her Fate in endgame made the fans of this Russian Spy more hopeless too, so fans had lose hope. Natasha Romanoff’s first solo film also experienced the Hurdle of the Pandemic. This film was originally going to be in theaters earlier last year. Unfortunately, Pandemic had delayed its release multiple times but the Black Widow finally has a release date. July 21st of this year is the promised release date.
To be introduced in the film is Yelena Belova. You need to pay attention to her because she is the second woman to use the Black Widow Mantle. Just like Natasha, she was a Soviet Spy trained in the Red Room. She is going to be played by Florence Pugh. Rachel Weisz and David Harbour also joins the cast as Melina Vostokoff and Red Guardian. They are two of Russia’s greatest superheroes. It is nice to see Russian characters being heroes in a Hollywood film.
The film is going to be a midquel between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. It is not going to be an origin story of prequel of the famous Russian Spy. If this will be a success it would be cool to see a prequel origin story for Natasha. We have the technology now to make actors look younger.
