Marvel Comics has officially announced the details for the upcoming new comic book series A-Force. The new series will debut later this fall and will feature Marvel’s female powerhouses in a new ongoing series. The team lineup will include She-Hulk, Medusa, Captain Marvel, Dazzler and Nico Minoru. Also joining the team is new Marvel hero Singularity.
Heading up the book is former Ms. Marvel and X-Men writer G. Willow Wilson for the story and artist Jorge Molina on pencils. In the story, the heroes team up to tackle a mysterious new villain who threatens the lives of everyone the A-Force holds dear and the very fabric of reality. The identity of Singularity and where she came from will be a big part of the stories, and she will help pull the band of heroes together.
Speaking on the book, editor Daniel Ketchum stated: “Readers first became acquainted with Singularity during our blockbuster summer event SECRET WARS. At the conclusion of SECRET WARS, Singularity will arrive in the new Marvel Universe. And when she discovers that its fate is hanging in the balance, she will summon A-Force to her side to battle a threat the likes of which they’ve never seen.”
