3DS Attatchment Confirmed, Redesign Looming?

The most ‘outlandish’ of all the rumours has come true, partly…

One of the weirdest rumours regarding Nintendo’s 3DS Conference was that the 3DS was going to get a second Circle Pad. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed this too be true. It comes in the form of an extension, which looks like a third-party dock. It extends from the right side by 2cm and features a second Circle Pad and an additional shoulder button. No word on pricing just yet, but the rumour said it would be as little as $10.

Another part of the same rumour said that there would be a 3DS redesign featuring this attachment built in. We’ll have to wait til Tuesday to find out for sure…
