In late 2017, Russian development studio Dynamic Pixels released their stealth survival horror game Hello Neighbor on PC and XBox. In the game, you suspect your neighbor of keeping a secret in his basement, but you don’t know what it is. You decide to pull a Rear Window and take a peek inside his house, but wind up captured. You now have to escape the neighbor’s house AND uncover the truth of what he’s up to, both without him catching you.
Hello Neighbor has since been ported to Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and PC. Now it’s about to make its biggest leap yet….to an animated series. At least, that’s what Dynamic Pixels and publisher TinyBuild Games would like to have happen. They’ve created a six-minute pilot pitch for a Hello Neighbor cartoon, and they’re giving us all the chance to see it this weekend.
The pilot stars Nicky, the protagonist of the original game. He and his friends suspect Nicky’s neighbor of dastardly doings….like kidnapping their friends. Can they snoop through the house without him seeing, and get to the bottom of what’s going on?
The Hello Neighbor pilot will air on the TinyBuild Games YouTube channel this coming Friday, April 17th at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern. After it runs, keep watching for a look behind the scenes with the cast and crew.
