Before You Update…
Wi-Fi Connection Requirement: You will need a stable Wi-Fi connection to update your Tamagotchi Uni. For instructions on connecting to Wi-Fi, refer to the following link and see #20 in the “Network” section of the FAQ: Wi-Fi Connection Instructions.
Stable Environment: Ensure you are in an environment with a stable Wi-Fi connection. Avoid locations with network congestion or environments where the connection can be easily lost, such as during transit or near a microwave oven that is in use.
Update Process:
- Once the update begins, you will not be able to play with the device until the update is complete.
- Do not turn off the device during the update. Ensure the device has enough battery life or is charging.
- If the device is turned off during the update, it may not update correctly, and play data may disappear.

- When this problem occurs in version 2.0.0, the screen to select “CONTINUE” or “RESET ALL” will be displayed. Please select “CONTINUE”.
